Woah..

OK so for whoever reads my reviews or even knows about this blog (hardly anyone) can see I haven't been posting anything. I currently started working at a movie theater about 3 months ago and since I started I have seen every movie that has come out. Also I've been busy with work and hanging out with my friends till school starts. I guess now it would be hard to put up a review of every movie I've seen so far, and anyways I wouldn't do that. Plus why would I post on something that nobody reads? Well I am now. Ill start posting as much as I can with some reviews and other stuff. Sorry.

Movie Review: Brave

So today I went and saw the movie Brave. I love Pixar so of course I had to see this. And I really enjoyed it. The animation in this is superb. Everything from the trees to the hair looked great and the the scene where shes shooting the arrows at the competition looked sick. The movie felt really young adult to me. An epic fantasy like Lord of the Rings but with a teenage movie plot. Yes it is still great for the little ones as always just if you see it you will know what I mean. its very funny, very intense (for a kids movie), very good animation and over all a great movie. I recommend it for everyone all ages. 9/10

Movie Review: Snow White and The Huntsman

So a few days I went and saw Snow White and The Huntsman. Overall I found the movie very boring. Just boring to watch. The fight scenes were mediocre. The acting was good though. The one thing I found great were the dwarfs. They had real sized actors play them but the special effects made them look believably small.  Other then that I did not like the movie and I do not recommend it. Stick with the Disney version. 3/10

Movie Review: Prometheus

So last week I went and saw Prometheus. First off, Yes it is a prequel to Alien but in a very different way. The movie is VERY original, It just sets up Alien. The movie was awesome! The whole movie was intense. It was sort of hard to follow but its one of those movies you have to watch again to get it in your head. There's not to much I can say without giving away spoilers but that it was just a great movie. Even if you don't understand it you will find it intense and fun to watch. I loved it.  10/10

Movie Review: Madagascar 3

Today I went and saw the movie Madagascar 3, and I have to say it was really good. Defiantly the most funny one of the trilogy. I laughed quite a lot and a lot of the parents in the theater laughed also. The animation  is fantastic and the 3D is also. Its a great movie to take your kids to because both of you will enjoy it. Or if you just liked the others then you will also enjoy it. 8/10

Movie Review: Men in Black 3

On Tuesday I went and saw Men in Black 3. I wasn't really excited to see it right away but Tuesdays are cheap night at my local theater and my friend wanted to go so I did, and I really liked it! It's a very fun entertaining movie. The effects were very good and it looked great in 3D.  Josh Brolin did such a good job as young K.  Also Will Smith was awesome as always. The ending was perfect! I love how it ties all the movies together. I recommend you go see it. You will enjoy it. 9/10

Movie Review: Chernobyl Diaries

On Saturday I went and saw the new horror movie Chernobyl Diaries. I was hoping to go in and enjoy it, and I did. Just not as much as I wanted too. The scenery of the movie was great. Had such scary atmosphere I could shit my pants if they just made the movie of them just walking around there, but that was mostly the only REAL scary thing. The thing I didn't enjoy was that the movie relied a lot on jump scares that were predictable. The movie is very average for a horror movie (Car wont start, people die one by one.) and if your okay with that like I am then you will enjoy this movie. I just think the idea of Chernobyl would be way more scarier then they bring in the film. 6/10

Movie Review: The Dictator

So on Thursday I went to go see The Dictator. I love Sacha Baron Cohen's movies and thought this one was going to be good, but it was a big disappointment. I really wanted to like this movie but it just didn't work for me. The jokes were just so dumb,  that I was shaking my head at most of them. They just weren't funny really. I did laugh at least 3 times during the whole movie tough but that doesnt say much. I don't really recommend you go see it right away, just wait till you can rent it. Or pirate it is a better idea... Its not a bad movie, but just don't expect to laugh much at all.  4/10

Movie Review: Battleship

So just a few minutes ago I went and saw the movie Battleship. I went in thinking to get a really cheesy alien flick based off a board game. But what i saw beat my expectations for it. Battleship is getting really bad reviews and i don't know why? Some of the acting is bad but its hard to spot because your paying attention to all the action. Its not a perfect movie, but its a fun action packed blast! One problem I had with it is that they didn't need to base it off Battleship. It had (almost) NOTHING  to do with the board game. They could of got rid of "Based off the board game by Hasbro" and it would of been an almost original idea, but I guess basing it off a board game would get peoples attention. There is one scene where they go to fight the aliens and it does look like they are playing Battleship which I though that was very clever and was hilarious. Overall it was a very good alien invasion movie. Had great music, great effects and a great pick of actors. Rihanna did good for her first role. Liam Nesson is awesome as always, and Brooklyn Decker is hot as ever. I recommend you go see it if you wanna have a good time at the movies. 8/10
